FA 8 MERLOT 2018 750ml is a Chilean wine and Merlot continues to be one of the varieties that is produced most around the world. This fruity red with a smooth texture goes down extremely easily. Originally from the Bordeaux region, this variety made its way to Chile during the middle of the 19th century, but it did not gain true popularity until the beginning of the 1990s, with velvety and elegant wines that are highly combinable on the table.

Tasting Notes: The wine has a bright and vivid ruby red color. With a blend of black and red fruit aromas, it is reminiscent of plums, raspberries and other fruits, plus a slight vanilla and caramel aroma brought by ageing in oak barrels. On the palate, the tannins are strong but not aggressive, and the aftertaste is long, refreshing and long lasting.
