The Ashmead Family began their wine adventure when they purchased the Elderton Estate in 1979 and then first released wines from it in 1982. Today, Elderton is run by second generation brothers Cameron and Allister, and together they work to uphold the values and traditions that were originally set by their parents – but also staying true to great Australian winemaking history. It is their intention to produce a deliciously rich, balanced and uncomplicated Chardonnay from vineyards scattered around the Barossa
Country: Barossa, South Australia, Australia.
Tasting note: Medium straw/light gold in color, this Chardonnay offers aromas of peach, melon and mango. On the palate, it is medium bodied, crisp and subtle. A deliciously rich, balanced and uncomplicated wine.
